Offer Description
We’re searching for highly motivated scholars in the field of Public Economics who fit positions of Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor offered by the School of Public Finance and Taxation, Guangdong University of Finance & Economics (GDUFE) (the main campus is located in Guangzhou,China) . The positions are expected to be filled in September 2024.
Job Description
Candidates with strong research expertise in one or more of the following subject areas: Public Finance, Taxation, Asset Valuation, and other fields in Public Economics are encouraged to apply.
Candidates who have already published articles in the above areas in ABS-4 level, FT 50 or UTD 24 are encouraged to apply. The positions can be part- time or full-time.
Job Requirement
Candidates should have a PhD degree in related disciplines. Successful candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in research projects, conduct high-quality research, and engage in collaboration with school faculty. Priority will be given to candidates who have proven capability to conduct independent research that results in impactful outcomes, like publications in high-quality, globally recognized, indexed journals and scholarly presses. Academic rank will be determined based on the experiences and achievements of the selected candidate.
Benefits and Appointment Terms
Commencing salaries will be determined based on qualifications and relevant experiences. Competitive benefit packages are offered to the selected candidates. Appointments to these positions will be initially made under a fixed-term contract with mutual agreement.
